Creamy chicken pot pie recipe

  • 4 and 1/2 cups of wheat flour
  • 300 g of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water (approx.)

  • 4 cups cooked and shredded chicken

Preparation mode

Put a pan on medium heat with oil and fry onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, puree, peas, corn, chicken, salt and sauté for 5 minutes. Let it cool. In a bowl, combine flour, butter, egg and salt. Slowly add water, mixing until smooth. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface and line the bottom of a 24cm pan with the dough side up. Brush with egg yolk and bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until golden. Remove from heat and serve.
