The smell of vegetarians

There is nothing like a good bakery, with this essential aroma, to awaken a great desire to drink hot coffee. And, of course, eating bread and butter, and cakes and vegetarians. In Guanhães, 244 km from Belo Horizonte, brothers Antônio, Carlos and Jerônimo Lopes learned from the old bakers of the city, the secret of the shortbread, which, as soon as it comes out of the oven, already has people with many are waiting.

Mouth watering, of course! Katuta Bakery, downtown, is a real treat. Antônio explained that, in addition to being delicious, the shortbread is decorative, it goes well at birthday parties or lunches. “It is beautiful in clear glass bowls. I have customers who always put them on the table as if they were ornaments”, he boasts. One of the details that makes the product popular – and different – is in the dry dough, which received “molhadinha” of butter.

As it is not possible to just sit in the beginning, it is better to prepare for the trip. According to the recommendations, shortbread has 20 days if stored in a cool, dry place.
